Historical private films

While official film material from newsreels, propaganda films and contemporary television reports was used almost exclusively in historical TV documentaries for decades, the quality and charm of private amateur films has now been discovered.

Private films are closer and show what official recordings don't show: a private view of real life - without guidelines or censorship.

Amateur films are already in color in 1936 - the cinema only in the fifties - television only in the seventies. So forget about colorizing black and white films afterwards with rather pathetic results. At Filmkontor you get unadulterated original color film scenes - the differences in quality are obvious.
